Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru-Bachelet Monnot
Nose that evolves every minute. Honeyy, yellow fruit, fresh broken bread, buttery and slightly minty. Generous and full mouth, acidity still present. Great white. Beautiful gold color. If the homeland of Chardonnay is Burgundy, its beating heart is Puligny Montrachet, and the Bachelet brothers give a superb interpretation of it. The Chardonnay grapes come from vineyards ranging in age from 20 to 50 years and are all located in the prestigious territory of Puligny Montrachet. Once the harvest has been carried out, strictly manually, the grapes then, as Burgundy tradition dictates, ferment in wood and then refinement is envisaged for 12 months, 30% of which in new barrels.
