Domaine de la Borde-Julien Marechal “La Marcette” Arbois-Pupillin Aoc

Julien Mareshal is one of those producers who think that wine is made above all in the vineyard. The estate is located in the heart of the Jura and consists of 5 hectares of vines aged between 7 and 77 years on the marly valleys of Arbois and Pupillin.

The grapes come from vineyards at 300 meters above sea level, with red marly soil exposed to the west. It ferments in 600 liter barrels where it then ages for 12 months. This very particular terroir translates into a sweet wine that combines finesse, energy and minerality specific to Pupillin.
