Château de Rayne Vigneau 2021
It is a Premier Cru classified according to the prestigious 1855 list presented to Emperor Napoleon III, upon the recommendation of the recognized professionals involved in Bordeaux.
Château Rayne Vigneau owes its reputation to its exceptional geographical location. The 80-hectare vineyard is located on the Bommes plateau, a gravelly and sandy ridge rich in agate, onyx, and sapphire.
Furthermore, the Ciron River, a tributary of the Garonne, provides morning mists in autumn that favor the development of botrytis, a form of over-ripening of the grapes at harvest time.
Fifty percent of the wine is aged in new barrels for approximately 18-24 months before bottling.
