Spumante Extra Brut "Quattrocento" - Nicola Gatta
The Extra Brut Classic Method Sparkling Wine “Quattrocento 40 Lune” amazes with its vitality and gustatory dynamics, and is perhaps the most carefree compromise among Nicola's wines in combining irresistible drinking with the inevitable complexity that distinguishes its liquids. “Quattrocento 40 Lune” is a sparkling wine obtained from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with grapes grown in the Gussago area following a sustainable philosophy that follows the precepts of biodynamics. The Extra Brut “Quattrocento 40 Lune” appears in the glass with a fairly intense straw yellow color and the usual fine and persistent bubbles. Among Nicola's wines it perhaps marks the median between compulsive drinkability and depth, with notes of talc, acacia and citrus peel on the nose.
