It comes directly from the Sarmassa cru, where the soils rich in stones and rocks contain the vegetative phase of the vines, while at the same time favoring perfect ripening of the fruit. Fermentation with maceration on the skins which can last up to fifty days, then aging in large oak barrels for thirty months, and lastly a rest in the bottle ranging from two to three years. Equally elegant is the olfactory bouquet, opened by floral nuances of peony then characterized by notes of ripe red fruit, and finally embellished with tones of face powder, goudron, cloves and pipe tobacco.
