The Guerre family, of Creuse origin, settled in Champagne in 1870, precisely in Venteuil, a small town a few kilometers downstream of Epernay.
Jean Guerre works some plots of vines helped by his wife and father-in-law winemaker.
His son, Pierre Guerre, created the P.Guerre brand in the 50s with the philosophy of diversifying terroirs, vines and plots.
From harvest to bottling, from disgorgement to marketing, every step is carried out by the whole family, within the estate, with the utmost respect for the tradition of Champagne. With talent and love for wine, they combine wisely, with great skill, traditional techniques and new technologies.
The spirit of the Maison is expressed more precisely during the assembly period, when Michel, Nicole and Delphine, and their wine consultant, meet in the intimacy of the vat or in the darkness of the cellars.
Thus, they are assembled with subtlety and emotion: vintages, grape varieties and reserve wines to create and perpetuate the "House" style that gives each of the cuvées its character and its difference.
