Champagne Leroy- Mer sur Mont
The ''Blanc de Quatre Cépages' champagne is the result of the assembly of the 3 classic vines: Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, with 5% Pinot Blanc. Harvested from the 2014 harvest from a single parcel of old vines called ''Mer sur Mont''. Rémi Leroy, oenologist and agronomist, manages the family domaine of approximately 9 hectares located in Meurville, in the Cote des Bar. The work in the vineyard during the year has a single and simple objective: low volume yields to harvest ripe, healthy grapes and concentrated in aroma precursors and rich in mineral substances. Thanks to the excellent ripeness of the grapes, Rémi Leroy's dosages are always very low and the Champagnes, after being disgorged, rest for several months in the cellar before being released onto the market.
