The "Altomare" from the well-known Sicilian winery Barraco is an interesting 100% Grillo of great character and aroma that goes well with fish and white meat dishes. The grapes are carefully selected from different vineyards and the vinification takes place with the sole use of indigenous yeasts, the refinement proceeds in Slavonian oak barrels for 15 months. The color is golden yellow with brilliant reflections and the scents released are reminiscent of hazelnuts, shortcrust pastry and citron. The sip is creamy, mineral, balanced and long.
