Toscana 2018-Soldera Case Basse

Sangiovese Soldera, Case Basse, is the absolute symbol of local viticulture in the Montalcino area. Since the 1970s, the period in which the lands left uncultivated by the local sharecroppers were purchased by Gianfranco Soldera, the Sangiovese Case Basse project was based on two fundamental concepts: a valuable production requires a complex ecosystem that constitutes the habitat ideal for a natural crop and the experience of the past must be compared with the innovation that arises from research. The winemaking, entirely carried out in wooden vats, is carried out naturally, without temperature controls or the addition of artificial yeasts.
