Olek Bondonio's Barbaresco Starderi is a red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes from a small parcel of over forty-year-old plants in the homonymous cru. Fermented spontaneously and macerated on the skins for 2 months, aged for 2 years in large barrels. Bright ruby color in the glass. The olfactory bouquet is complex and rich, opening with hints of ripe cherries and strawberry jam, then embellished with numerous tertiary memories, of dill, licorice, cloves and tobacco in particular. The palate responds to the sense of smell, energetic but well integrated into the tannic texture, warm and of considerable length.
