Terrano di Pietra is a Karst red produced by a variety also called 'lone wolf' because of the difficulty in cultivating it and its angularity. But when it is well worked like that of Vina Pietra, the result is really an intriguing wine: aromas of currant and cherry meet the black truffle on the nose, while on the palate it is intense, slightly tannic and captivating freshness. At full maturity it is perfect with white or red meats, to try with horseradish lamb, a typical recipe of the region.
