La Chapelle-De la Mission Haut-Brion
It is a story that has its roots in distant centuries, dating back to the Middle Ages, that of La Mission Haut-Brion, a Château located in Talence, in the prestigious Graves area, on the southern outskirts of the city of Bordeaux. It all began around the middle of the 16th century, in 1540, when the Château passed into the hands of Amaud de Lestonnac, an important merchant from Bordeaux, who understood the great potential of the territory and structured the entire estate for the cultivation of vines and for wine production. The vineyards today cover a total area of 29 hectares. Among the rows, the greatest respect for the environment, for nature, for biodiversity and for the ecosystem is maximum.
